Overview
I have absolutely no information on this one, apart from it's obviously a sibling to the 14" x 5.5" Yellow Zebrawood. That one is fairly rare - this one is a unicorn. Spotted on a Pintrest post (of all things!) in April 2022 but there are absolutely no details supplied with it, just the photo. I thought this was a 14" shell, but Julio on the Facebook group pointed out the lug spacing suggests a 13".
No-one else seems to have a shot of this one so if you happen to have one, or know anything about it please do get in touch.
Update October 2022
I know I've said this before, but sometimes, for all its issues, you just have to love the Internet!
After posting about this genuine unicorn, I was suddenly contacted out of the blue by Malte Barke in Germany, who had spotted the post and actually owns it! He bought it some time in 2020 on eBay Germany from a dad of a 13 year-old, who was playing drums at that time but lost interest in it. He had bought it for his son and then he decided to sell it. Malte says he was "quite lucky." I think that's the understatement of the decade!
So here it is. The 13"x6.5" Zebrawood in all its glory. May we all be as "quite lucky" as Malte!!
Images of this unicorn courtesy of Malte Barke. Thank you SO much Malte!!!
The original image that started this quest is by Dan Billings on Pintrest and used under fair use.
