With its new high-gloss “Brown Sugar Burst” finish, the Black Panther Walnut Series is more beautiful than ever — and it still enjoys the same rich and saturating sonic advantages that it has always had.
This is the later Deep Forest Walnut series, with a thicker shell (8.5mm vs 5.mm), Die Cast hoop and a different finish. It's listed as "Premium Walnut" rather than "Deep Forest", although there are examples with either badge. My personal theory is that they used their existing stock of the deprecated line's Deep Forest badges until they ran out, then switched to the Premium badges. They are the same snare though.
