Overview
Black Panther Brass Snares are built using 1.2mm pure brass for a tone that’s slightly more delicate than steel. High end tones are faithfully produced with precise sensitivity and plenty of power when you need it most.
These are sometimes very difficult to distinguish from the very similar Phosphor Bronze models. I did ask Tim Waterson whose example is shown here if there was a badge on the reverse of the snare but there isn't, at least on his model (see the shot of the air vent). My personal take on this is that Brass looks more "Yellow" and Phosphor Bronze looks more "Gold". But it's a super tough one to spot at a distance.
