Overview
The Black Panther Steel is our loudest metal shell, yet it yields a wide dynamic range for soft articulation. The magnificent brightness embedded in the tonal bands makes the Black Panther Steel Snare an incredibly versatile, high-performance instrument.
This is the original version of the Steel shell, with tone rings and die cast hoops. Initially these were branded as "Mapex Steel Deluxe" and then later "Steel Black Panther"; it's the same snare with a different badge.
