Overview
The literal definition of a "sleeper" shell. 3 of these shells were made as a prototype for the Terry Bozzio Signature Snare in 1991‑92. Terry eventually opted for a 5" shell however, so these deeper 6.5" units were never made available to the public and sat in a store room until 2014. Shimano San dug them out after their 20 year "sleep" and, rather than waste them, produced 3 units with gold hardware and die cast hoops.
Chances of getting hold of one of these? Zero squared. Nice to dream though.

実は先週末にアルミシェルが３台シェルのストック部屋から出てきました。これは1991~1992頃にテリーボジオさんのシグネーチュアスネアを
作った時のサンプルです。彼のモデルは14x5で、14x61/2仕様は結果的に製品化しなかったので運良く二十数年眠っていたわけです。今だに探している人の問い合わせもあるくらいのシグネーチュアスネアでした。確か１週間位で完売した記憶があります。それでもったいないから作成しました。ただしこれはシグネーチュア仕様ではありませんが。ゴールドパーツ、ダイキャストフープ仕様で作成しました。近々お店さんに限定数３台で営業予定でおります。1mm厚, Black Powder Coated,14x61/2仕様です。
