Overview
Shimano San's first release of March 2023 (and as far as I can tell the first release of 2023), and publicised at the same time as the 14"x5.5" Choclate Brown model. According to Shimano San, this one has a "plain" finish, in what I'm calling Wine Red - primarily because there are other models in a similar colour. Or at least what looks to me like a similar colour. My colour vision is famously not going to win awards, so any further input gladly accepted.
The description says that snare has a 45 degree snare side bearing edge, with the batter side one being rounded, and that the tone "won't hurt your ears, even at a high pitch".
I checked the database and this appears to be the first snare featuring a combination of black chrome hoops and lugs, but with a 24k gold strainer, and I really like the new look 😻
The intention is to produce 10 of this model so you actually have a decent chance of getting your hands on one - if you live in Japan and are quick anyway!

BSJ1435 14x31/2 All Maple3月最初の完成品です。プレーンのオールメイプルシェル1台のみ完成本日完成！全てで10台作成予定。45度のベアリングエッジ、トップは丸め。ハイピッチでも耳が痛くない程度のトーンです。
