Overview
One of the first Mapex Japan / Beyond Shimano collaboration shells I ever set eyes on in 2015. I did ask about buying one, but money was a bit tight and I wasn't sure how to pay for it in Yen at the time, so I didn't get one in the end. I regret that now.
The finish is a lot like the Mapex Benchmarch Gold finish they used on the Pro M series: I've got a BeBop kit in that and it's pretty close. Shimano San says there's some cracks in the lacquer as it's a prototype for an aged snare - it's a new shell. You'll have to look really closely though!
Note: It's become a lot easier to buy things from Japan in Yen since 2016. Give me a shout if you need any advice.

Prototype For Aged Snare Sample
シェル表面にクラックを作ったデッドストック系のエージド仕上げの試作品です。勿論新品です。写真では非常に分かりくいですがゴールドトップカラーの透明部分にクラックが全面的に入っています。
