The ultra-thin shell of the Black Panther Traditional Maple Snare series produces a reliable, earthy response that’s been embraced by players for generations. No matter what size you prefer, the Black Panther Traditional Maple Snare delivers equal tone at any tuning.
This size of the high-gloss traditional maple was released towards the end of 2002 with the other high-gloss traditional maple models, but was gone by the range consolidation and new website launch in later 2004. As a result, there don't appear to be too many of these around; it certainly took long enough to track down any photos of one!
It comes with the I.T.S mount in chrome that fairly ubiquitous on 10" shells of this period.
