Overview
Not an easy one to track down this as they weren't in the range for very long. There do appear to be a few floating around however if you're really lucky! The catalogues only ever show this model with Powerhoops, but I've seen a few examples over the years with Die Casts (as in Ben Nicolls' example show below). Not 100% sure if these were special orders or retrofits, although I tend towards thinking the latter.
This model always comes with the Precious Metal badge, as it was retired in the 2004 refresh when that series was rolled up into the main Black Panther stable.
The chrome hardware one with Die Casts shown in the gallery is my one of my personal snares. It isn't as actual badged Black Panther, although it's the same shell. I've seen a couple of these over the years but really not sure on their background. Any further information gladly accepted.
