Overview

Like its two brothers, there's not a huge amount of information on this Limited Edition snare, but piecing together information from the video from the Drum Center of Portsmouth and a few random sales listings, it appears to have been made in late 2013. According to Shane at DCP, Mapex made three sizes of limited editions at this time: the 14"x8", the 14"x5.5", and this is the middle-sized one - the 14"x6.5". 

All maple shell with a rosewood exterior ply in Merlot Burst lacquer.
