Overview
Like its younger brother, this commemorative model was produced in limed numbers for the "The Big Beat" Charity Fundraiser in 2009.
Again , it's a 14" x 8" walnut and maple shell - the clever money is on something like the Big Cat - with a custom wrap.
Spotted this on a lone random post on DrumForum.com when, in all honesty, I was looking for more photos of the 2010 model. The owner, Michael Lowe was kind enough to get back to my "hail-Mary" message and offered to send more shots. Apparently he won the snare in 2009 and it's sat in a box in his garage since then. Why you ask? Well, Michael had, at the time of writing (April 2022) 42 snares!!!
Photo courtesy of Michael Lowe - thanks a million for sharing this rarity Michael!
