Overview
These 8mm Maple, chrome die-cast hoop snares only seem to be listed in the 1997 Black Panther Catalogue, at a time where Mapex seemed to be making a drum out of every material going and in every size imaginable - there's over 40 snares listed!
They're badged as "Maple Deluxe" but of course they absolutely are Black Panthers.

(Note: The shots show where Benjamin swapped the original chrome hardware to the 24K gold hardware from his 14" Brass Master piccolo just to make the snares more personal and to give this one the feel of the Noble and Cooley snare Phil Collins used in the 90s.)
