Overview
These 8mm Maple, chrome die-cast hoop snares only seem to be listed in the 1997 Black Panther Catalogue, at a time where Mapex seemed to be making a drum out of every material going and in every size imaginable - there's over 40 snares listed!
They're badged as "Maple Deluxe".
This looks like a monster, being that it's 8mm thick and 8 inches deep. Maybe that's why the catalogue says it's not available in the United States - it probably comes with its own reality distorting gravity well and no courier would transport it overseas. 😮
