The Deep Forest kit range appears for the first time, bringing with it the first four models of Deep Forest snares. These snares weren't originally included in the main snare range, only as components on Deep Forest kits. 

• Only the 10"x5.5" and 14"x6.5" Deep Forest snares (both Cherry and Walnut versions) were available at launch and for some time afterward. 
• All Deep Forest components were only available by special order. 
• Old style Deep Forest Badges can have either Made in China or Made in Taiwan on them, although originally they were all Taiwanese
